With over 24 years of demonstrated success in international distribution and business development, Elizabeth (Betsy) Olim founded Olim International, Inc. in 1997 to bring world-class international distribution services to small- and medium-sized companies. Our skills include capitalizing on new international markets in more than 50 countries on six continents on behalf of clients, maximizing profits in fluctuating economic conditions, and establishing highly efficient global distribution strategies designed for long-term growth. Prior to establishing Olim International, Betsy served as Corporate Buyer of Raw Materials and Export Services for International Paper, a $25B Fortune 500 company and one of the largest forest products shippers in the world. As a product expert for the company, she built corporate product development teams and directed purchases in excess of $400M. Olim negotiated contracts and rates, developed related projects, and managed all export shipments from the U.S. to Europe and Asia. During her tenure she produced bottom-line savings of $44M.

As a sales executive for United States Lines and Nedlloyd Lines, Betsy produced more than $6.5M in new sales in marine transportation and logistics services. Betsy also served as Global Logistics Manager for The Julian Company, directing global transportation for one of the world’s largest cotton trading companies.
